Silica gel used to dehumidify devices like cameras must be regularly recharged/dried but now a new electrolytic dehumidifier will do the job without the need for servicing and bring with it many other benefits.
This solid membrane dehumidifier removes humidity from the device enclosure to the outside by electrolysis of water. It operates from a d.c. 3V source; is drain-less, noiseless, maintenance free, and very compact.
It can also be used to humidify by reversing the element.
